The Beauty Lounge Boutique was opened in December of 2010 by owner Sonya Walker. The Beauty lounge inspires and encourages women to be unapologetic about their unique sense of style and beauty. The Beauty Lounge celebrates the essence of a woman and her full range of beauty. Our mission is to empower women to celebrate their own personal God given uniqueness through fashion, beauty, and style.
Sonya Walker a hairstylist/makeup artist of 23 years has always loved beauty and fashion. Sonya is the owner of Essance, LLC essanceimages.com a ministry/company whose mission is to beautify women from the inside out who was given the vision by the Lord to create a clothing line called Beautifully Speaking the clothing line that speaks well of women. It was founded on the scripture that as a (wo)man thinks in her heart so is she. What a woman says about herself is very important. Her life is a reflection of how she feels about herself. When you wear your Beautifully Speaking Baby Doll Tee(s) you are telling the world how you see yourself and when they read your shirt they are speaking into your life as well as their own.
Through this Sonya decided to extend her love for beauty and fashion into a Beauty Lounge where women can dress, feel, discuss beauty and their need to learn how to love themselves and begin seeing themselves the way God sees them.
